More efficiency in building services engineering – our latest valve innovations
11.03.2026New automated ball valve solutions and KFE valves from WESA
With its latest product innovations, WESA is expanding its range for modern building services with high-performance solutions that deliver greater efficiency, safety and flexibility in installation. The focus is on new automated ball valve solutions with electric actuators, as well as robust KFE ball valves for heating and potable water applications.
Automation with the EL01 electric actuator

One of the highlights of these new products is the new EL01 electric actuator. It has been specially developed for compact installation situations and stands out thanks to its space-saving design. With a torque of 15 Nm, the actuator ensures reliable operation even with stiff ball valves.
Thanks to its 230 V AC supply, direct mounting in accordance with ISO 5211, and simple integration, the EL01 can be incorporated into existing systems quickly and easily. The clear open/close control with position indicator supports precise system monitoring and reduces the risk of incorrect valve positioning. For added operational safety, a manual emergency override by hand lever is provided in the event of a power failure.
The EL01 is also available separately and comes pre-assembled in various ball valve versions:
- EL019652: stainless steel ball valve, 2-piece, female/female thread to DIN EN 10226-1, ideal for heating systems
- EL010768: brass ball valve, 2-piece, female/female thread to DIN EN ISO 228-1, ideal for heating systems
- EL010837 / EL010838: 3-way brass ball valve, 4-piece, female/female/female thread to DIN EN 10226-1, with T-port or L-port
New fill and drain ball valves: robust and versatile

With the new fill and drain ball valves, WESA is offering further practical solutions for heating and potable water installations. Particularly noteworthy is the new 1545 BFD angle ball valve, which is suitable for potable water and approved in accordance with DVGW (W570-1) as well as ÜA potable water requirements.
The ball valve offers high operational reliability and a pressure resistance of up to 32 bar (temperature-dependent), with a maximum drinking water pressure of 10 bar. The temperature range extends from -20 °C to +150 °C, and from 0 °C to +65 °C for potable water applications. The robust design in nickel-plated CW510L brass, durable sealing materials, and a maintenance-friendly construction with PTFE seals and stuffing box spindle sealing ensure lasting tightness and a long service life. Availability is planned for approximately June 2026.
The range is complemented by additional fill and drain ball valves in various designs, including:
- 1541: brass ball valve, 2-piece, male/male thread, DVGW potable water approved
- 1523: brass ball valve, 2-piece, male thread/hose connection, PTFE / EPDM
- 1532, 1533, 1534, 1538: brass ball valves, 2-piece, various connection versions, PTFE / FKM / graphite
- 1524: brass ball valve, 2-piece, male/male thread, PTFE / EPDM
- 1542, 1543: stainless steel ball valves, 2-piece, various connection versions, PTFE / graphite
